Dover U14s got back to form after suffering their first league defeat in two seasons with an 10-2 thrashing of Sittingbourne.

Dover missed several chances before Rory Sutcliffe and Ason Limbu combined down the right hand side before the latter delivered a perfect cross to Tyler Watson who headed home beautifully.

The next cam following a fantastic through ball from Ned Odlim to Limbu to whose finish from close range flew across the stranded keeper.

The third was all about Watson as intercepted a pass and ran in on goal. The Sittingbourne keeper saved his first shot but Watson followed up his own shot to tap in.

Odlin was the provider again as his excellent through to Watson put the striker clean through and he finished calmly into the bottom corner.

Sittingbourne pulled.on back following a dubious offside that wasn’t given, before Limbu scored his second to make the half time score 5-1.

Sittingbourne grabbed a second straight after half time following a clear foul on the excellent Louie Procopi.

However Dover responded straight away. Connor Deeks, in his first outing of the season, made a great run down the right wing,  and his cross found Sutcliffe who in turn found the bottom corner.

Deeks then scored himself, using his strength to muscle past the Sittingbourne defence after a slide rule pass from Limbu.

Zion Gabriel won ball in midfield and delivered a lovely pass to, through to Sutcliffe who turned and crashed the ball into roofing of the net.

Limbu finished off his hatrick next with a low drive into the bottom corner past the helpless ‘keeper.

Deeks then missed a penalty, having a really busy day on his return.

The final goal was created by Salman Yediayli, tricking his way down the right wing before crossing into Limbu, he set the ball back beautifully first time to Sutcliffe, whose calm finish completed the scoring with perhaps the best goal of the day and completed his hatrick.

Other notable performances came from Ollie Childs at centre back and George Hunt who was outstanding throughout.
