After 3 weeks of postponements it was good to get back playing again. Both teams started slow with very few chances first half with much of the play won and lost in midfield areas.

However second half and following a few changes at half time, Dover started the stronger side and found an opening when Kennedy fired at the keeper only for the rebound to fall to Ambriz who scrambled the ball over the line from close range.

Ambriz then netted a second 10 minutes later when he ran onto a through ball and slotted the ball under the diving keeper and into the net.

Kennington responded late on putting Dover under more pressure and were awarded a penalty in the last 5 minutes but this was to be there only reply.

The game ended 2-1.

An unusually cagey game from two ball playing teams but a result none the less. Also well done to new signing Oliver Evans who looks a great addition to the squad.
