Dover Athletic played an unbeaten Hasting Utd Sunday 10th November in the KYL.

Dover had a poor start conceding an early goal within the first minute, following that Dover grew into the match dictating play and having the greater possession up to the half time interval.  Dover did create a number of clear cut chances and really should have been leading the match at the half way point.

The manager made a tactical change in personnel & formation which put a greater emphasis on taking the match to Hastings in pursuit of the 3 points, this paid off when Zaire Smith scored again, in his third consecutive match, this was quickly followed by another goal for the team scored by TJ Cannon-Allum from a quick transition play from defence to attack.

Hastings pulled level but Dover continued to press the home team and got the well-deserved winner from a corner following a period of constant attacks, this inflicted Hasting Utd’s first league defeat of the season.
