Dover Athletic U16’s ( 4 ) v Margate U16’s ( 1 )

Dover responded to a disappointing result the previous Sunday with a convincing win against Margate. Dover opened the scoring when Rob Wellard scored his first goal for the club with a neat lob over the keeper. Margate soon equalised but a timely goal from Tom Mirams put Dover back in the lead just before half time. In the second half Toby Douglas confidently converted from the penalty spot and later scored his second with a half volley following excellent build up play from the back.
